ANKARA

Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh visited Turkish parliament on Tuesday.

In his meeting with Turkish Parliament Speaker Ismail Kahraman on Tuesday, Guelleh said that his country wants to strengthen relations with Turkey.

"Turkey's visionary leadership is very important for Muslim Ummah," he added.

Following the meeting, Kahraman showed Guelleh the parts of the parliament that had been bombed during the defeated coup of July 15, 2016.

Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) and its U.S.-based leader Fetullah Gulen orchestrated the defeated coup attempt on July 15, 2016 which martyred 250 people and injured nearly 2,200 others.
