Turkish minister to attend EU foreign ministers meeting

ANKARA 

Turkey's EU affairs minister will visit Bulgaria on Thursday to attend the informal meeting of EU Ministers of Foreign Affairs, a statement said. 

According to the statement issued by the Ministry of EU Affairs, Omer Celik will attend the two-day meeting in EU’s term president Bulgaria’s capital Sofia. 

Celik will speak at a session related to cooperation in the field of security and defense. 

He will also discuss the subject with the foreign ministers of the EU countries.

The meeting, which will be held on Feb. 15-16, will have sessions on Syria, Western Balkans and North Korea.
