At least 15 migrants drowned on Saturday in the Aegean Sea, off the Greek Agathonisi Island's coast, local media and officials said.

Twenty migrants were aboard a wooden boat which sank, Athens Macedonian News Agency reported.

The fatalities include five children and 10 adults, a spokesman for the Greek Coast Guard told Anadolu Agency.

Two women and a man managed to swim to the shore of the island unharmed.
