Activists have said forces loyal to the Syrian regime on Tuesday killed 86 people in offensives on several cities across Syria.
Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), a London-based group that tracks civilian and dissident casualties, stated that Assad forces killed 19 in the suburbs of capital Damascus, 18 in Dera'a, 16 in Aleppo, 9 each in Homs and Deir al-Zour, 7 in Quneitra, 4 in Idlib, 2 in Latakia and one each in el-Haseqqeh and Hama in air and land operations.
Meanwhile, Syrian General Revolution Commission (SRGC) added Free Syrian Army forces attacked Kuveyris military base in Aleppo and fierce clashes continue taking place between the opposition and regime forces in many parts of the city.
SRGC stressed that fierce clashes also continue in Qusayr between opposition forces and the Hezbollah members in Qusayr and underlined the humanitarian plight in the district due to heavy use of artillery.
SANA, Syrian national news agency, announced that regime forces made major gains against opposition in operations across the country.
