Turkish, Russian foreign ministers discuss Syria, regional developments

ANKARA

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on Friday spoke over the phone and discussed regional developments and the situation in Syria, diplomatic sources said.

During the phone call, Fidan and Lavrov highlighted their countries' support for Syria's political unity and noted the importance of an inclusive political transition process in Syria, the sources said.
