Türkiye's BIST 100 up at weekly open

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened on Monday at 12,373.11 points, up 0.84% or 102.93 points.

At Friday's close, the BIST 100 rose by 0.17% to 12,270.18 points, with a daily transaction volume of 124.8 billion liras ($2.54 billion).

As of 9.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 49.1620 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 55.0100 to the euro, and 64.9990 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $4,151.05, while Brent crude futures traded at $101.54 per barrel.
