Turkey's Minister for European Union and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis called on United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to get into action about Egypt.
Speaking at a press conference, Bagis condemned killing of people outside the Republican Guards headquarters.
Bagis, pointing out that he did not find the discourse of the UN enough, said "I believe that the discourse of UN should be more clear, more consistent, more convincing and more conscientiously, UNSC must get into action about Egypt as immediate as possible."
"UN could not act in a certain manner even when hundreds of thousands of people died in Syria. UN cannot realize the bleeding wounds in other parts of the world because of the conflict of interests among its permanent members" added Bagis.
In a fire opened on pro-Morsi protesters on Monday, 53 people were killed and more than 300 others were wounded in front of Republican Guards Headquarters in Cairo.
