ANKARA
Vice Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Foreign Minister of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Zlatko Lagumdzija on Wednesday said that "accession into the EU was a high priority for me".
Speaking at a meeting organized by the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV) in Ankara, Lagumdzija stressed that "membership in NATO and developing cooperation with neighboring countries were some of the priorities of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Accession to the EU is on the top of our list of priorities".
"While the leaders in Bosnia-Herzegovina have differing ideas on certain issues, they all agree on the importance of EU accession for Bosnia-Herzegovina," Lagumdzija stressed.
Touching on Turkish businesspeople operating in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Lagumdzija noted that trade relations between the two countries developed every passing day.

Turkish President Abdullah Gul on Wednesday received Vice Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Foreign Minister of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Zlatko Lagumdzija, in Ankara.
The meeting at the Cankaya Presidential Palace was held closed to news media.

The meeting at the headquarters of ruling Justice & Development (AK) Party in Ankara was closed to press and lasted around 40 minutes.
