Turkey's permanent representative at the United Nations (UN) hosted an iftar dinner for the ambassadors and representatives in UN.
The iftar dinner was hosted by Turkey's permanent representative Halit Cevik at Water Club Restaurant in New York City. 40 people including permanent representatives of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Palestine, Maldives, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Mali, Uzbekistan, Nigeria, Morocco, Libya, Djibouti, permanent observer of Organization of Islamic cooperation (OIC) Ufuk Gökcen, and the permanent representative of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Mehmet Dana have participated in the iftar dinner.
Cevik delivered a speech during the dinner and pointed out to the difficulties in Islamic countries.
Cevik stressed the unity and solidarity between the Islamic countries, saying, "I hope that we would see Ramadan months which bring peace not only to Islamic countries but also to all world."

"Abundance Convoy", which has been sent to Western Thrace with the slogan of "Brotherhood has no limits" by Istanbul Bayrampasa municipality for nine years, held iftar dinners in Xanthi and Komotini cities in Thrace, northeastern Greece.
Turkish Minister of Health Mehmet Muezzinoglu, MP of Bursa Hakan Cavusoglu, Governor of Edirne City Hasan Uluerer, Mayor of Bayrampasa municipality Atilla Aydiner and other dignitaries have participated in the iftar dinner at Kizilagac village in Komotini.
Muezzinoglu said that he was very happy being with his own people, and added, "Turkey will always stand by Turkish minority in Western Thrace."
- Iftar dinner at religious foundation in Holland
The religious foundation in Holland held an iftar dinner. Turkish Ambassador in Hague Ugur Dogan and Turkish Consul General in Rotterdam Togan Oral participated in the dinner.
Dogan delivered a speech during the dinner and said that Ramadan put people together and made people forget their loneliness.
