Turkish agency sends winter aid to Balkans

ISTANBUL 

Turkey's Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) said Saturday it has sent winter aid and food packages worth €100,000 to 5,000 people in the Balkan countries.

The foundation said in a statement that millions of people around the world face difficulties during the winter season.

The aid, including clothing and firewood, has been dispatched to Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo.
