BAGHDAD, Iraq
At least 17 people were killed and 59 others injured during three separate bomb attacks in the Iraqi capital Baghdad on Monday.
A bomb, killing one soldier and wounding four others, was detonated as an army convoy crossed the road in Baghdad's southern Al-Medain area, according to security sources.
At least 13 more people were killed and 44 others were wounded when cars loaded with bombs exploded in southern Baghdad.
Similarly, during a bomb blast in the al-Meamil district of Baghdad, three people died and 11 others were injured.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for any of the attacks.
